Coleman County Cowgirls are at the Texas State Fair!  The Coleman County Cowgirls are a group of young women that represent Coleman County in area parades and rodeos.  Each year the Cowgirls perform at the Coleman PRCA Rodeo and wow the crowd with their performances.  This year, the Cowgirls have been asked to perform at the Texas State Fair.  They are part of the Majesty of the Horse Show which is directed by the Diaz Family.  The Diaz Family is a husband, wife, and son team that perform charro and dressage style acts. There are also two adult trick riders and two kid trick riders in the show.

If you want to watch the Coleman County Cowgirls, they will be performing three times a day during the State Fair starting October 13th and will perform through October 23rd (except Wednesday).

The girls will be performing in the Fair Park Coliseum building, just slightly to the NE of the Cotton Bowl.  Coleman’s own are performing at the beginning of the show carrying 6 Texas Flags!  Entry to watch the performances is included with a state fairground’s pass.

Alice Wilke said, “We are having an amazing time and feel so blessed by all those that helped us get here!”   The Cowgirls want to say a big THANK YOU to all their sponsors:

Other people they would like to say thank you to as well include John Baum, for donating some custom flag boots and a bridle, and Tracy and Alicia Sanders for allowing them to use their arena for alternate practices!

Wilke said, "As always we hope to represent Coleman County and the Coleman PRCA Rodeo all along our way!  Check us out on Facebook for updates and pictures!"  https://www.facebook.com/ColemanCountyCowgirls/
