WOODBURY — The Woodbury Earth Day Festival will return from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday April 30, in Hollow Park on Hollow Road. The 2022 event will feature vendors and exhibitors, food trucks, Earth-friendly activities, workshops, nature walks, crafts, and fun for all ages. Cyril the Sorcerer, a featured presenter, will share two environmental magic shows highlighting water and recycling to inspire the audience to be stewards of the planet.

Other programs happening under the activity tent will include a compost workshop with UConn master composters, a rain barrel workshop with the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, a Hatha Yoga class with Woodbury Yoga Center and a garden tour with the Glebe House.

Nature walks and activities along the Pomperaug River will include a bird identification walk with Audubon at Bent of the River, river exploration with Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust with the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, and a plant identification walk with Earth Tones Native Plant Nursery.
