Central Michigan football linebacker Cory Gildersleeve Jr. has entered the transfer portal, per his Twitter. The redshirt sophomore will have two years of graduate transfer eligibility.

Gildersleeve Jr. was a member of the 2017 recruiting class. He grey-shirted his freshman year and saw action in 21 games in the seasons since.
His father, Cory Gildersleeve Sr. is a former CMU linebacker, lettering in the 1993-95 seasons. Gildersleeve Sr. also was a member of the track and field team at Central.
Gildersleeve Jr. has appeared in all six games this season for the Chippewas, recording four tackles.
